Position overview:


Reporting directly to the production manager. the main responsibility will be to oversee and manage production-related activities, such as scheduling, quality control, safety, and employee relations, to meet production and quality targets in the assembly production area, with a high level of energy and passion for satisfying customer requirements.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop the recruitment plan according to the milestones and project phases.
  • Coordinate and stimulate the development of human and technical resources in accordance with the production program.
  • Plan short- and long-term resources
  • Define the needs for human and material resources
  • Participate in the development of the training plan and the definition of possible staff promotions.
  • Analyze the results of the workshop daily, and ensure that corrective actions to resolve discrepancies are effective
  • Ensure the execution of the daily and weekly production program.
  • Assist supervisors in their work, maintain daily follow-up with them
  • Control production results
  • Analyze established production programs and study the implementation capacity
  • Analyze statistics and ratios to prevent and improve performance
  • Establish corrective action plans in the event of deviations.
  • Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement.
  • Gather the different indicators concerning Safety, quality, production, absenteeism, turnover, costs, scrap, 5S, and inventory level.




Key skills and Qualifications:


  • bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical Master's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar position
  • Experience with production, Lean, Six Sigma, and Best Practices
  • Good Communication skills at all levels
  • Solid knowledge in management items
  • Team management skills
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
