Job Description:

A candidate for the position of Process Engineer should have technical skills and experience combined with soft skills. Engineer will be responsible for production lines and new products/projects, which will involve supervising the production process, ensuring continuity of production and compliance with technological standards, and providing safe working conditions. This role will require the engineer to have skills in collaboration and communication between production, quality, maintenance, design, and new projects implementation departments.

 

Scope of responsibilities:

  • Initiating and implementing improvements in existing production processes and machinery (OEE, productivity, Scrap Rate).
  • Preparing specifications for machines, equipment, tools, and fixtures, integrating customer requirements with technical requirements, and meeting corporate standards.
  • Collaborating with all Lear departments.
  • Working with the purchasing department and machine suppliers to order, commission, and accept machines and fixtures.
  • Preparing technological documentation in accordance with process and product requirements for new machines, equipment, and processes.
  • Creating and supervising system and workstation documentation (PFMEA, Flow Chart, Work Instructions, etc.).
  • Implementing new machines and equipment into the production plant, considering all conditions: material flow, human aspects, environmental impact, etc.
  • Responsible for handing over machines to serial production.
  • Responsible for starting the production process according to the planned schedule, OEE, and budget for new machines and processes.
  • Supervising production processes considering SPC and OEE.
  • Monitoring the capacity of subordinate areas and planning industrialization.
  • Implementing new production processes.
  • Implementing engineering changes (PIP).
  • Achieving FTQ goals in the assigned area.
  • Achieving EBIT goals.
  • Optimizing changeover times.
  • Providing technical support and training for production, maintenance, and quality department employees.
  • Participating in the preparation of specifications for machines, equipment, tools, etc.
  • Supporting the creation of reports using the G8D method.
  • Ensuring compliance in BOM & Routing in subordinate areas.
  • Obliged to implement the company's environmental, safety, and quality policies, goals, and tasks within their scope.
  • Performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the position.

 

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Omron)-basic
  • Basic knowledge Operation of KUKA robots - basic
  • PFMEA
  • Problem solving (Ishikawa, 8D, 3A, etc.)
  • Experience in operating automated lines
