We have new opportunity for experienced Buyer to join our purchasing department in Pruszków location. Project Buyer will be reporting to Senior Purchasing Manager and will be supporting our products in production (thermal comfort systems for seats) through managing supplier base and monitoring all operational supplier issues, in line with Group Purchasing / Category strategies.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage direct material production supply base for defined plants/categories and handle supplier issues efficiently.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and negotiate with suppliers for optimal costs.
  • Investigate new supplier base, benchmark current supply base to ensure best suppliers used
  • Communicate plant/product requirements effectively.
  • Develop and propose PPV budgets and savings activities for assigned areas.
  • Conduct PPV and KPI reporting, ensuring targets are met.
  • Lead or support cost reduction initiatives and participate in Lean/VAVE activities.
  • Administer purchasing tasks in ERP systems.
  • Strategically manage local categories, including supplier selection, negotiation, and SRM activities.

 

We expect form you:

  • University degree.
  • Experience in purchasing department ideally from manufacturing company.
  • Advanced level of English and Polish.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Computer skills including MS Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Driving License cat. B.
