Job TItle :Senior Supplier Quality Manager

Reports to :  Sr. GM – Quality

Positon Focus : Strong technical / supplier development experience

Job Description

•    Responsible for Supplier identification, selection, and development of specific projects / process technologies with suppliers.  
•    Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing process e.g. Stamping, Plastic, welding, Trim , Foam, fasteners etc.  
•    Hands on experience in stamping & plastic tooling’s 
•    Strong understanding and hands on experience in GD &T, Technical feasibility reviews, APQP, PPAP, Run @ rate, Safe launch etc.  
•    Support with the supplier selection approval process & RFQ’s by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities. 
•    Define and manage launch activities at supplier end – early production containment and quality activities. 
•    Perform on-site supplier visits & manage for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
•    Involve from design stage with engineering team for right supplier on board & first-time right samples. 
•    Work cross functionally with Program, Purchase, Engineering, plant team for smooth launch & Zero customer line stoppage 
•    CSR (Customer specific Requirement) knowledge – e.g. Renault Nissan, Mahindra, TATA, Stellantis, Honda, MSIL, Toyota etc. JOEM, COEM, Indian OEM
•    Initiate & drive supplier escalation meeting at all levels. 
•    Drive cost avoidance / saving projects 

Expreience

•    Minimum 20 years + experience in Tier-1 (preferably in seating & MNC ) and OR OEM working experience.
•    Proficiency in English
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong professional ethics

Qualification : 

•    B.E. (Mechanical, Automobile) + 
•    Diploma in Tool and Die Making (Indo German tool room)
