Position Overview

 

Equipment Test & Tools engineer will develop and deliver testing tools for test engineers on time, on budget and on quality target. Equipment Test & Tools engineer will analyze requirements, design, and deploy a representative test bench (emulating as close as possible real environment connected to DUT) as well as maintain it during whole project life cycle.  Improve design efficiency (effort and tools) and keep up to date in technology and market trends by ensuring leanest possible process & tools to meet our project objectives, work products and tools needed to generate insights into how global projects are following standards and procedures established during all the development life cycle.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Supplier Management
  • Setups Design and deployment
  • Develop specification for tooling and automation equipment
  • Create Training documentation for Setups and Tools installation
  • Setups testing (Black box testing) => for ISO26262, IATF and changes performed into test benches
  • Test benches/setups maintenance
  • First level for issues investigation/root cause finding with Tooling Team.
  • Support System Test teams using Test benches.

 

Key Skills :

 

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years experience in Equipment design or a equivalent & related practical experience
  • Knowledge of Core vehicle Electronics and/or Power Electronics
  • Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic engineering
  • Knowledge of HIL Testing
  • Knowledge about JIRA use is desirable as well as SVN
  • Experience with LABVIEW Programming is desirable as well as C  , Python and CAPL
  • Passion for quality and close attention to details
  • Problem Solving
  • Dynamic, proactive, team player, and communications skills.
  • Fluent in English.
