Position overview:

 

As a Case Leader, you will lead the execution of the projects for data-focused, digitalization solutions using Lear’s data analytics and application platform within EMEA Seating, as part of the EMEA Seating Industry 4.0 strategy. This includes micro-level project management, optimizing and adjusting deployment strategy to achieve project goals within defined time and costs, reporting out to the Workstream lead and Main project customer, communication with project participants and other central functions, execution of Business cases with the Plant/Business/Functional teams, feedback of lessons learned and opportunities to refine the standard solutions.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • As a member of the EU&AF AME team, manage the execution of data-focused projects using Lear’s data analytics and application platform.
  • Manage the project execution:
    • Ensure that the project roadmap is understood by all parties and that all communication channels are established.
    • Ensure all Lear Data Standards are adhered to, or signed deviation is issued.
    • Project timing is adhered to and team members/stakeholders are managed proactively.
    • Ensure all Lear EHS & IT standards and local authority regulations are complied with, during all projects.
    • Ensure that all project savings are tracked and reported.
    • Flawless deployment and zero Customer impact
    • Ensure that project execution is in hand with our core values.

 

  • Manage the Strategic Digitalization roadmap:
    • Work closely with the Workstream Leader and central functions to follow the Digitalization Roadmap to support the business Long Range Plan.
    • Support the creation of Lear’s data analytics and application platform standards and maintain system of lesson-learned
    • Support the creation of Data section within the AME Playbook, aligned to the Corporate Data direction.

 

  • Develop Standards:
    • Working closely with the rest of the Data Team, participate in the creation of Project Management standards to be applied to all Digitalization Projects.
    • Support the development of Data Standards by ensuring robust feedback from lessons learned during project execution.
    • Regular review of developing Digitalization tools and technologies to identify opportunities to develop and pilot

 

  • Business Improvement:
    • Improvement in Data Analytics KPIs with EMEA Seating
    • Employee understanding of Digitalization, Industry 4.0, and Lear’s strategy to adopt these technologies.
    • Employee engagement

 

  • In addition to these tasks, other projects and responsibilities may be individually defined

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

 

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Economics in Business Analysis
  • Proven work experience in IT system environment
  • Experience within automotive industry or comparable high volume production industry in a multi-national or corporate environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Accomplished in developing cross functional business relationships.
  • Technical knowledge of IT and data analytics
  • Structured approach to management
  • Experience in project management and can demonstrate project deliveries
  • Understanding of IT security topics
  • Technical knowledge in coding Python/sql language
  • Good understanding of Data Base management
  • Experience in Change Management
  • Exceptional communicator
  • Proficiency in English language, spoken and written
