Role overview:

 

Providing all round HR support to a busy manufacturing facility, supporting the employees and leadership to ensure best practice HR support.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage high volume Employee Relations issues at the Redditch plant such as: Attendance Reviews; Disciplinary (up to and including dismissal); Grievance & Flexible Working Requests.
  • Support Managers, providing advice and guidance in respect of all ER matters escalating complex cases and appeals as appropriate within the HR structure.
  • Work alongside other members of the HR team to ensure that all employee relations issues are dealt with in a timely manner in line with the Company policies and procedures
  • Support Managers in respect of managing poor performance and performance improvement plans.
  • Effectively manage short and long-term absence processes, to drive a reduction to below the Company target
  • Work with Occupational Health & Management to ensure that all employees with restrictions or issues are being managed back into the business, escalating capability cases to HRBP, if required.
  • Ensure that Occupational Health referrals are received and/or completed prior to appointments

 

Ideal candidate:

 

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant HR related subject or experience within a HR role
  • An empathetic and engaging style
  • A best practice approach to Employee Relations with some experience of mediation.
  • SAP SF knowledge would be a plus.
