About Roche-la-Molière Plant

Located near Saint-Étienne in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the Roche-la-Molière plant is an important site within Lear’s Seating Division in France.
The plant specializes in metal welding (main process), painting, and assembly of seating components and structures for major automotive manufacturers.
With approximately 200 employees, the site is recognized for its strong industrial expertise, safety culture, and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Its teams work in close collaboration with Lear’s European engineering centers to support industrialization and product launch activities.

Responsibilities
• Define, implement, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing processes in line with Lear standards and plant objectives.
• Design and update production process sheets and technical documentation.
• Analyze and solve process deviations, supporting production, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Study and launch new industrialization projects, ensuring smooth transition to production.
• Optimize equipment, tools, and workstation layouts to enhance productivity, quality, and ergonomics.
• Plan and coordinate industrialization activities with cross-functional departments.
• Ensure compliance with internal regulations, HSE standards, and applicable industrial processes.
• Define and monitor project budgets and performance KPIs.
• Lead technical meetings, working groups, and training sessions to share best practices.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and operational excellence.

Requirements
• Technical degree (Bac +2 or higher) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (automotive industry preferred).
• Solid understanding of process engineering, welding, assembly, and industrialization methods.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and AUTOCAD.
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, FMEA, and project management tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Team-oriented, rigorous, and proactive, with customer-focused mindset.
• Fluent in French; English knowledge preferred.
