HR SPECIALIST
ROSCOMMON, MICHIGAN – ROSCOMMON PLANT

 

As a member of the Roscommon Plant Human Resources team, the HR Specialist will be responsible for Implement and manage all aspects of the training programs at the Roscommon facility, embracing its continuous improvement philosophy, and disseminating it throughout the organization so that all associates accept it as a valuable tool in their daily work life.

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support TWW Employee Engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate a variety of HR generalist functions including employee and labor relations, AAP, staffing and recruiting.
  • Assist teams and trainers in identifying any needed resources and help to make them available to the team.
  • Grievance administration and labor/employee relations issues. 
  • Promote team and safety concepts throughout the facility and organization.
  • Manages and maintains an adequate and accurate record keeping system for IATF16949 training requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage employee certification process to ensure that training needs are met.
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Make recommendations, plans, and suggestions that promote continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Perform monthly water pressure drop tests
  • Maintain a log of all monthly water pressure drop tests and fire extinguisher inspections
  • Conduct safety investigations.
  • Coordinate plant training program, trainer meetings, instruct new trainers and solving related issues
  • Follow systems for IATF16949 and ISO14001

 

Your Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Communication, Industrial Engineering, or one of the behavioral sciences or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and “people skills
  • Problem-solving abilities. 
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Experience in a union environment preferred.
