Quality Engineer

QUALITY ENGINEER
ROSCOMMON, MICHIGAN – ROSCOMMON PLANT

As a member of the Quality team, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for supplier, customer and internal concerns, IATF16949, APQP, PPAP’s and continuous improvement.  

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Customer quality contact
• Supplier quality contact
• 8D problem solving process.
• IATF16949 internal auditing and maintenance of quality systems.
• Address production floor issues as requested.
• Special projects as assigned by the Quality Manager.
• PPAP’s and all associated documentation.
• Participate in the APQP process as assigned.
• Carries out assigned functions described in Policies, Procedures, and Quality Manual.
• Recommend, plan, and participate in continuous improvement activities throughout the organization.
• Training in quality subjects as assigned.
• Follow systems for IATF16949 and ISO14001

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum three years of Quality Engineering experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a Quality Engineering role.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Must be proficient in the use of MS Office programs.

Bonus If You Have:

•  Certified IATF Lead Auditor and SAP knowledge.
