NEW CAREER OPORTUNITY – ENGINEERING COORDINATOR
SALTILLO PLANT (SALTILLO, COAHUILA).
The Engineering Coordinator plays a key role in driving the successful execution of product and process engineering activities within the plant. This position is responsible for coordinating cross‑functional engineering teams, evaluating the feasibility of new projects, and ensuring robust, efficient, and customer‑compliant manufacturing processes. The role requires strong technical leadership, project management skills, and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
YOUR TASK WILL BE:
- Coordinate Product Engineering and Process Engineering functions.
- Evaluate the feasibility of new projects, ensuring compliance with product specifications.
- Define and validate process parameters to meet customer requirements.
- Train, develop, and promote teamwork among direct reports.
- Knowledge and experience in CQI-15 audits, quality control, and primarily IATF 16949.
- Use and application of Lean Manufacturing tools and Core Tools.
- Demonstrated experience in Laser Welding and GMAW processes, orbital presses, and stamping die design.
- Knowledge of GD&T and design tools.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position within the automotive industry.
- Experience in metal-mechanical processes, including welding, assembly, and stamping.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects, including planning and meeting timelines.
- Availability to travel, with a valid VISA and passport.
- Conversational English required.
