<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">As a member of the EHS team, the Global Ergonomics Senior Manager will be responsible for implementing Lear’s global ergonomic program, leveraging Lear’s Humantech tools and training, and prompting, overseeing, and reporting improvements emanating from kaizens and other improvement efforts.


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Role:

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">To provide program management and leadership for the Lear global ergonomic efficiency effort
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Serving as a role model and mentor for site safety leaders to build competency and drive improvement projects
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ensure and track global Humantech training and process implementation, apprising routinely of status, associated with injury risk reduction, efficiency and costs savings
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Support product design and plant launch activities with proactive ergonomic expertise and standardization methods
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Work with global EHS team to ensure overall program is being implemented as directed at site level, where necessary
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Data driven problem solving; ability to quickly identify key issues, analyze data sets and implement actionable recommendations


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Your Qualifications:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Ergonomics, Kinesiology, Biomechanics, Occupational Health and Safety or related technical background
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Minimum 8 years’ Ergonomic experience (4 years at manager level) in a manufacturing environment
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Strong Background within the Automotive or similar Industry
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience and ability to travel globally


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bonus If You Have:

  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Advanced Degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, or similar field
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Ability to guide product/process launch efforts including ergonomic design leadership to operating and launch teams
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience with the SIEMENS Jack Software
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Familiarity of Toyota Production System (TPS)
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience in Just In Time (JIT) manufacturing environments
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE)
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Prior background in the broader EHS field.
  • <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Experience with Humantech tools
