Continuous Improvement Manager
Southfield, MI – World Headquarters
As a member of the Surface Materials team in Lear’s Seating Division, the Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives that align with business objectives while developing organizational capability on Lean/Six-Sigma tools globally. The position must be able to manage multiple projects with very aggressive timelines that drive bottom line profit to the organization while developing innovative ways to accomplish project objectives.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Building organizational capability on continuous improvement tools to drive bottom line business results
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives on a global scale that aligns with business objectives
- Train/Coach/Mentor global organization on Lean/Six Sigma tools and methodologies
- Actively participate in identified continuous improvement projects weekly on a global scale
- Participate in global strategic planning meetings that identify opportunities to improve bottom line profitability
- Involved in process trouble shooting and root cause analysis
- Development of new systems within the organization to achieve business objectives
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Master Black Belt certification achieved or in process
