POWER BI DEVELOPER

SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN –WORLD HEADQUARTERS

 

Lear is looking for a Power BI developer to join our talented project team in building our modern data analytics platform for our business users. Your primary focus as a Power BI developer will be collaborating on the design and development of modern dashboards and visualizations using data from a cloud data warehouse environment (Snowflake).  

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Developing reports and dashboards using Power BI based on industry and company standards and best practices.
  • Effectively translating business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, while creating high performance visualizations that meet strategic and tactical business requirements.
  • Working daily within a project team environment, taking direction from project management and technical leaders.
  • Championing development, deployment, and production support.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of production level experience working with data, business intelligence toolsets and Microsoft Power BI development.
  • Background in data warehouse analysis (Snowflake a plus), ability to read Data Flow Diagrams, Conceptual and Physical Models.
  • Excellent business acumen and the ability to understand data relationship.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to present to technical and non-technical users.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
  • Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies.
  • Self-driven individual with a passion for analytics.

 

Bonus If You Have:

  •  Manufacturing or automotive experience preferred.
