SYSTEM ARCHITECT WIRELESS
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN – LEAR EAST CAMPUS/WORLD HEADQUARTERS

 

As a member of the Core Electronics team, the System Team Lead will be responsible for technical interface to customer and different discipline domains (SYS, SW, HW, MECH, TEST) for System Requirements, Systems Architecture and System Integration Testing work products and coverage for wireless products.

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Lead, plan, coordinate and control System requirements, System Architectural Design, System Integration and Systems Test activities
  • Manage System resources for project
  • Perform estimations for projects (schedule, System Resource, System Tools)
  • Ensure elicitation of requirements from Customer Requirements, System Requirements and System Architecture
  • Lead and supervise risk management activities for System Requirements, System Architecture and System Integration testing
  • Management and moderation of System FMEA meetings and development

 

Your Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of work experience as a lead in automotive environment
  • 5+ years of Automotive Wireless product knowledge (PEPS, RKE, BLE)
  • Multi-discipline knowledge and vision
  • Requirements management in DOORS or equivalent tool
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Structured problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work in diverse and globally distributed team
  • Familiarity with ISO26262 and ASPICE

 

Bonus If You Have:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering
  • 10+ years of Systems Engineering experience in automotive
  • Experience in embedded software development
  • Experience in ECU hardware development
