SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER – NORTH AMERICA
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN – WORLD HEADQUARTERS

 

As a member of the Sales team, the Sales Account Manager – North America will be responsible for leading customer and/or product initiatives to drive profitable sales growth in key Connection Systems product portfolio

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Drives Long Range Revenue Plan commitments. Establishes targets and roadmaps to achieve overall revenue growth by customer, product, and region
  • Resolves commercial issues for new and existing business
  • Reviews business cases for correct and appropriate inputs; challenges team to constantly improve cost structure
  • Prepares analysis/executive summaries for business cases with recommendations for management
  • Identify and implement VA/VE opportunities through BOM analysis and create commercial proposals that produce additional business
  • Ensures integration of our key technologies in future projects/programs. Promotes entire range of Lear E-Systems product portfolio
  • Develop strong internal relationships to collectively work towards a common goal of creating customer value
  • Support activities that facilitate smooth launches, positive customer relations, and achievement of financial targets

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of customer-specific requirements and automotive commercial processes
  • Business acumen including negotiation skills and understanding of financial business cases
  • Ability to compile and present business cases for leadership approval
  • 2-3 Years experience working with major automotive manufacturers in the Electrical/Electrical Architecture space (Injection Molding, Stamping, Wiring, Power Distribution, etc.)
  • Undergraduate degree preferred in Business Development, Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • Persistence to achieve revenue & profit goals
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and convey product value propositions with customers
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Self-Driven individual with a team player mentality

 

Bonus If You Have:

  • Experience specifically related to LV/HV Connection Systems
  • MBA in Business Development, Engineering, Finance, or related field
