SALES DIRECTOR
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN

 

As a member of the E-Systems team, the Sales Director will act as the business/account champion (commercial and program management) for all electronics products supplied to the customer(s) in North America.

 

The Role:

Your scope will include, but not be limited to:

  • “Single point of contact” for all Ford, Stellantis, and Fisker electronics business in NA. 
  • Responsible for all aspects of the customer relationship including profitability, revenue growth, program execution, and quality.
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive customer strategy to meet internal financial commitments as well as securing new revenue opportunities for selected customer accounts.
  • Build/develop relationships with key customer leaders.
  • Coordinates with other regional business leaders to ensure a consistent global approach where applicable.
  • Maintains a deep understanding of customer requirements and translates those into opportunities for Lear.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or above preferably in a technical field.  MBA preferred
  • At least 10-15 years’ experience managing complex customer accounts, both from a commercial and program management perspective, in the automotive industry
  • Understanding of cost drivers, financial business case analysis, and budgeting.  Demonstrated ability to meet financial targets in a time-sensitive manner.
  • Strategic thinker - simplifies strategy into specific actions, makes decisions and communicates priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivated, results-oriented.
  • Motivates team members and peers with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

 

Bonus If You Have:

  • Specific experience related to Ford or Stellantis customer accounts
