Position overview:

 

Our future industrial engineer should be a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Industrial Engineer to join our team. you will be responsible for optimizing and overseeing Assembly processes to ensure quality production, efficiency, and safety. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our Assembly process.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Oversee all technical activities of the project related to the Assembly lines, validation and industrialization,
  • Ensure coordination between the various internal and external stakeholders,
  • Approve and Resolve issues related to the Assembly Process and equipment (manual, semi-automatic, fully automatic).
  • Responsible for the production and follow up of pre-serial parts,
  • Be the main technical contact in front of the program managers,
  • Prepare the RFQ’s (Technical calculations) for the new projects,
  • Prepare Technical Specifications for assembly machines and equipment, including new technologies.
  • Ensure the correct planning and follow up during machine building phase.
  • Provide support and guidance for the suppliers during design and construction of the equipment/machine.
  • Assembly machines and tools approval, ensure the pre-acceptance and the acceptance protocols.
  • Ensure sampling and R@R activities.
  • Ensure the availability of all needed data and documentations for internal and external stakeholders (BOM, Master data, capacity study, PFMEA, Work instructions…)
  • Support the order of new production equipment and tools,
  • Ensure a correct spent of the CAPEX and launch OPEX for the project under his responsibility,
  • Support a smooth conduct of the various Audits (Internal, External, etc.),
  • Support the operations teams to reach the plant KPY’s targets. and implement the improvements related to the productivity.

 

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Engineer degree: Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial or Automation
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical project management or process engineering in the automotive sector.
  • Experience in the automation and robotics will be an advantage.
  • Good Knowledge of project milestones and project industrialization
  • Good knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, 8D, APQP, PPAP).
  • Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
