Position overview:

 

Reporting directly to Maintenance Manager, our future product engineer will have as main missions to maintain all Lear TAC installations and equipment in safe and optimal operating conditions.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Define and update the maintenance plan based on company strategy, client requirements, safety, quality, and feedback from maintenance analysis.
  • Prepare maintenance plans, instructions, procedures, emergency plans, and technical specifications with the Industrial team.
  • Maintain maintenance cost under 0.5% of SDLH FY.
  • Achieve KPI targets and drive root cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Ensure the polyvalence between technicians according to schedule approved by maintenance manager.
  • Get TPM silver level by Q3-2026.
  • Maintain equipment availability Over 98% FY.
  • Ensure the proper use and proper maintain of tools and spare parts
  • Drive continuous improvement projects, cost-benefit studies, and digital transformation (predictive solutions, IoT, TPM).
  • Act as an expert in implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Coordinate and develop maintenance teams, manage training, apprenticeships, and promote safety culture.
  • Actively work with all functions to achieve /maintain the following certifications:

o         IATF

o         ISO14001 audit

o         Environmental audit

 

 

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

 

  • High degree in technical studies.
  • At least 5 years’ experience.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines 
  • Teamwork spirit
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Hands on experience in planning maintenance operations
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of wiring equipment
  • Applicable knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
