We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Tax Compliance Analyst, based in Centrales HND, Quimistan, Santa Barbara (E-Systems Division). 

As Tax Compliance Manager you will be assist the Tax Compliance Manager in complying with the legal and tax obligations of the plants in Honduras.                       

Your Task will be

  • Annual renewal of sales and income tax exemption.
  • Preparation of information for the annual renewal of sales and income tax exemption.
  • Preparation of requirements for the Register of Exempt Persons.                                         
  • Submission of statistics to the Secretariat of Economic Development.                      
  • Submission of statistics to the Central Bank of Honduras                                                                                                                                                           
  • Ensuring the submission and accuracy of monthly DMC, ISV, and income tax withholding returns for suppliers and employees.                                                                                                                   
  • Annual income tax return .                                                                                              
  • Prepare information for transfer pricing analysis.
  • Keep accounting records up to date in the daily and auxiliary books (purchases, sales, imports, exports, financial statements, etc.).                                                           
  • Auditing export invoices.                                                                                               
  • Ensure compliance with the Free Trade Zone Law and its regulations, informing management of any deviations or non-compliance.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.
  • +3 years tax liability positions.
  • Knowledge:
  • Tax obligations, Free Zones Law of Honduras       
  • High level of commitment to integrity and accountability.
  • Intermediate english.
  • Proven Analytical, Communications and Organizational skills.
  • Ability to interface across multiple organizations, product lines and levels in the organization.
  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible and/or changeable schedule, especially during the month end close process.
