As Procurement Supervisor you will be Responsible for Design and maintain the optimal level of inventory to meet the needs of the end customer, throughout the manufacturing process.

 

YOUR TASK WILL BE:

 

  • Monitoring of shipments of raw materials from suppliers.
  • Printing a list of critics and expediting with suppliers to ensure availability of material in the plant.
  • Analysis of excess inventory to detect supplier over shipments and negotiate returns or stop future shipments.
  • Monitoring inventory value and actions to adhere to forecast.
  • Monitoring inventory discrepancies.
  • Track rejected material (Hold area).
  • Analyzes and follows up on the Excess and Obsolete report.
  • Tracks the purchasing process for new part numbers.
  • Participates in the coordination of Engineering changes through APQP meetings.
  • Monitor premium freight and generate action plans to reduce it.
  • 1Actively participates in semiannual physical inventories, achieving a variation of less than 2% in the reconciliation.
  • Follow the instructions and procedures of IATF16949. and SOX Internal Control.

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree on Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering or related.
  • 2+ years as similar role in automotive industry desirable in Harness
  • Proficient English Level
  • Communication & Problem-Solving Skills
