Position Summary

Lear Corporation is searching for an IT Specialist to join our expanding team in Traverse City Michigan! This full-time direct hire salary position will focus on assisting the plant with IT related duties. Job Description

• Serves as initial point of contact providing level 1 support for salary and hourly employees.
• Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
• Perform user account set ups and account maintenance.
• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
• Coordinating with current and new team members to assist with general system access.
• Responsible for daily back up and server review.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance with corporate IT standards.
• Perform other IT related duties as directed by your supervisor.
• Participate in after hours on-call support rotation.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

• Required: Associates Degree in IT Administration
• Preferred: Bachelor Degree in IT Administration
• Required Certifications: CompTIA A+
• Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certifications: MCA, Modern Desktop, MTA and MCSA
• Ability to read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
• Ability to install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
• Troubleshoot network or connectivity problems for users or user groups
• Experience using ERP systems is preferred
