Central Supplier Quality Engineer

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the supplier components qualification for new projects
  • Manage supplier quality activities from prototype to serial phase in given projects
  • Perform technical analysis and root cause analyses
  • Coordinate daily activities with other SQA engineers and project cross functional team
  • Support supplier’s industrialization and validation processes
  • Perform preventive audits
  • Ensure the quality goals of suppliers are met to improve customer satisfaction and reduce quality costs
  • Monitor and report the supplier's quality performance through the appropriate indicators
  • Support and validate problem resolution actions in serial production and also in new launches

  

To be successful in this Role you must have:

  • University degree, technical background is an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing supplier quality role in the automotive industry
  • Advanced level of English & Polish, German is an asset
  • Preferred experience with plastic and/or assembly commodities
  • Core quality tools knowledge as 8D, APQP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and PPAP methodology, knowledge of VDA standards
  • Willingness to travel (approximately around 45%)
  • Knowledge in problem solving methodologies
  • Negotiation and communication skills
  • Very good organization, interpersonal skills
