Job Description

You ensure that manufacturing processes consistently meet product quality requirements by applying structured controls and problem-solving methods. You work closely with production and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve issues that impact performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

 

  • Execute product and process controls aligned with control plans and production requirements
  • Lead 8D problem-solving processes for internal and external quality issues
  • Coordinate daily quality data analysis and drive corrective actions for improvement
  • Implement and validate Poka Yoke systems to prevent process defects
  • Manage in-process quality assurance and enforce built-in quality standards
  • Analyze production quality records and recommend process improvements
  • Conduct process capability studies and implement changes based on findings
  • Support APQP activities, FMEA development, and maintain control plans throughout program lifecycle

Experience Requirements

3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and control plans
Experience with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analysis
Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams
