Job Description
You ensure that manufacturing processes consistently meet product quality requirements by applying structured controls and problem-solving methods. You work closely with production and quality teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve issues that impact performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Execute product and process controls aligned with control plans and production requirements
- Lead 8D problem-solving processes for internal and external quality issues
- Coordinate daily quality data analysis and drive corrective actions for improvement
- Implement and validate Poka Yoke systems to prevent process defects
- Manage in-process quality assurance and enforce built-in quality standards
- Analyze production quality records and recommend process improvements
- Conduct process capability studies and implement changes based on findings
- Support APQP activities, FMEA development, and maintain control plans throughout program lifecycle
Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and control plans
Experience with structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone analysis
Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams
