Position Overview

Lear is looking for a Engineering Leadership role responsible for Battery Management Systems (BMS). The position reports to the Manager for Global Electrification Systems, the Battery Management Systems Engineering Manager will work closely with the Electrification leadership team including the wider global team to act as a leader for BMS integration.

 

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to)

Lead, grow and mentor the BMS Engineering Systems team.

Support identification of product, process or new technology opportunities in BMS products globally to ensure Lear remain at the forefront competitiveness.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure vertical product integration.

Plan, lead and manage development of Battery Monitoring Systems according project milestones and customer expectations.

Ensure high quality design standards by demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset.

Drive technical projects and engage with upper management regularly reporting project status, activities and achievements.

 

To be a success in this role you must have:

Bachelor's in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience

Master’s degree or MBA will be highly desirable

Experience in leading teams.

Track record of success in creating and innovating complex automotive designs

Technical background in Electronics designs and automotive processes
