Position Overview
The Jr. Global Logistic Flow Optimization has a key role in processing transport orders timely to ensure vendor payments are processed within the agreed payment terms. The associate will be responsible for ensuring that the accounts payables are processed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Ensure flawless transportation for In-/Outbound flows supported by I-Net Transport Management System. Implement freight cost saving projects for an optimized and cost effective transport setup within EU & African plants and built up a Global Routing by using the Lear networks in the regions.The job holder is familiar with freight rate cards and has a fundamental understanding of rate calculations.

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to)
·Review and analyze weekly releases to ensure material's delivery when due to avoid line downs or extra costs.
·Measure supplier delivery performance and work with them to improve lead time.
·Work with plant and central team to optimize supply strategy (MOQ, lead time, packaging sizes, supplier selection...)
·Maintain up to date Supplier parameters in the system.
·Work with suppliers and implement countermeasures when needed.
·Periodically review obsoletes and excesses in order to minimize/avoid.
·Review invoices related to logistics issues.

 

To succeed you must have:
-Business or engineering background with an MBA or Supply Chain studies
-Management skills to lead teams indirectly
-Strategic thinker capacity
-Language skills English and Spanish are a Must, any other 3rd language is a plus
-Teamplayer
-Good in communication
