Job Description

Reporting to JLR Customer Group Leader, main objectives are:

The PCE is the single point of accountability for the customer, responsible for program delivery, financial performance, customer satisfaction, business growth and risk management.
The Engineering Product Leader (EPL) team will report directly to the PCE.
Leadership of the EPL for Projects on Awarded Products or new opportunities (RFQs) through development, launch and current production.

Responsibilities

 

• Program Execution. Ensure product completeness through flawless execution. Manage overall program milestones and critical work packages with EPLs. Coordinate release planning and ensure successful delivery of customer commitments.
• Customer ownership. Own the overall customer relationship from a program execution perspective. Maintain regular engagement with customer stakeholder and platform leadership.
• Risk & Escalation Management. Act as the first level of escalation for program issues. Track and manage risks and issues. Lead task forces to resolve critical program challenges. Support decision-making and problem resolution.
• Program Budget and Financial Management. Manage overall project budgets. Achieve financial targets and profitability objectives. Manage cost performance and resolution allocation. Identify and maintain financial R&O.
• Reporting & Governance. Ensure timely and accurate program reporting. Lead performance reviews and status reviews. Monitor KPIs and project performance metrics.
• Leadership & Talent Management. Coach and mentor EPL team. Identify skill gaps and ensure appropriate training plans. Support career development and succession planning.

Experience Requirements

• Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or Industrial Engineering
• Technical and Management skills/experience
• High level of English is a must.
