Role overview:

Working as a key member of the purchasing department, as a Supply continuity Specialist, you will be responsible for improving the supply chain.

Working within the E-Systems team and reporting directly to the Global Supply Continuity Manager, this position will be based in Valls, Tarragona.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead logistic agreements negotiations, working together with Materials & MPL to be aligned
  • Work to improve localization with main suppliers
  • Handle supply capacity issues at mid/long term with main suppliers.
  • Expand the consignment implementation
  • Meet regularly with main suppliers to understand their supply Chain future strategy and find synergies with Lear
  • Work on logistic basics like MOQ reduction, EDI and ASN implementation to improve the day to day results
  • Work with cross functional teams to identify additional process improvement opportunities
  • Analyze information to identify trends & communicate potential risks and/or opportunities

 

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree - Business Administration Degree
  • Master’s in supply chain or logistics might be a plus
  • Fluent English skills.
  • Good communication skills in cross functional teams
  • Analytical and problem-solving Skills
  • Team player
  • Great organizational skills
  • Previous experience in automotive industry might be a plus
  • Computer literacy – in particular with MS Office - Excel
