The Velizy site focuses on seating product engineering and development activities, including design, testing, and validation. The team collaborates closely with other Lear technical centers and manufacturing sites in France and across Europe.



Main responsibilities
• Develop and document CAD (3D/2D), digitization, and PDS for assigned seating programs
• Ensure robustness and accuracy of CAD data, trim cover drawings, and BOMs
• Manage CAD data according to Lear standards and coordinate with suppliers and LCC teams
• Supervise CAD designers and lead communication with Trim Engineers
• Maintain strict confidentiality for all technical data and documentation
• Apply and monitor 5S standards in the workspace
• Manage trim consumables, stock organization, and logistics (orders, receptions, shipments)



Requirements
• Education: BTS/DUT in mechanical or production engineering or equivalent; professional license in automotive system design
• Experience: Proven experience in CAD (CATIA V5 3D/2D, Gerber, Accumark, PDS) within the automotive sector
• Technical skills:
• Proficiency with CATIA V5, Accumark, PDS, and COUPA tools
• Understanding of seat trim component design and integration
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in 3D/2D data alignment
• Soft skills:
• Good communication in English (written and spoken)
• Ability to summarize and present technical results clearly
• Organized, precise, and team-oriented
