Position overview:

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Senior Account Manager based in Velizy Head office.

 

As Senior Account Manager for our Seating Division, your main priorities will be to achieve the internal sales target within your scope, identify opportunities in order to improve profitability and be the voice of your customer at Lear.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Build, develop and assure a trusted relationship with the customer
  • Be the voice of the customer at Lear in order to get awareness of key customer issues.
  • Have regular meetings and relations with the customer
  • Coordinate the customer interface with the program manager support
  • Negotiate all the customer change requests and improve margin
  • Have a clear follow-up of all commercial issue and its resolution in a timely manner
  • Be reactive in the information release towards the customer and assure quick customer feedback
  • Support strong link between JIT plant, Lear BU and external customer
  • Be involved on the strategy definition, the elaboration, and the presentation of the customer offer
  • Assure the profitability of his/her programs
  • Identify and execute any opportunities through customer relationship
  • Engage support from Sales Director whenever necessary.

 

 

 

Key skills and Qualifications:

  • Automotive Seating, JIT or High complexity commodity experience (in Commercial, Program Management or Engineering capacity)
  • Automotive experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales/ Purchasing &/or engineering functions
  • Ability to work with MS PowerPoint, Word, Project, Excel
  • Proven record of Sales/Commercial negotiation
  • Experience in Project Work
  • English language to a business level.
  • Degree qualification in engineering/business studies
  • Professional and confident approach
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and negotiating competences in French and English, outgoing, assertive, tenacious, dynamic
  • Confident and eloquent
  • Team player, cost conscious, effective and meticulous way of working
