An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Treasury Manager based in Velizy Head office. As a regional position covering Europe & Africa, you will also be working closely with Lear Headquarters in the US as well as divisional operations.

As a Treasury Manager working under the supervision of the regional Treasury director, you will have to proactively interact and support on daily basis Lear’s Divisional Offices, Operating Plants, Tech Centers, SSCs and any other Lear party in the Region/ Worldwide as well as our Corporate Treasury HQ in the US.

We are looking for a hands-on manager able to work on strategic matters but also deal with daily operational issues when needed.

Additional duties will include (but may not be limited to)

  • Free Cash Flow forecasting assessment – review and reconciliation with Operations.
  • Working capital analysis/ Payment terms reviews.
  • Subsidiary funding and repatriation – longer term cash forecasting planning with input from operations (forecasts, budgets, LRP)
  • Provide accounting teams with the relevant information to support month-end close and reconcile proper accounting treatment.
  • Participate to cross-functional projects and support integration projects.
  • Back-up role to cash forecasting and cash pooling management (MCNP and single currency pools), including IC funding requirements, netting.
  • Trading/ settlement of FX trades executed in the region and plant liaison for identifying FX exposures.
  • Participate to maintaining strong internal controls and compliance.  Review and develop procedures and processes. Drive continuous process improvements including cybersecurity.

To be a success in this role you must have  

  • University Degree preferably in Finance, Economic and/or Accounting with minimum 5-year experience in Finance with a Large Multi-National Company.
  • Proficient in English (one or more languages is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge Excel, knowledge of Treasury workstation, HFM and banking platforms is preferred but not required.
  • The person should be open-minded and curious, independent and autonomous, have good analytical skills and strong communication skills.  Team player and loyal.
