Head Accountant

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead Capital investments reporting including Forecast and Capex reviews with management
• Construction in progress analyzing and reducing aged items
• Ensure Corporate policies and Local GAAP requirements followed
• Manual purchase order tracking and review the readiness for invoicing
• VAT returns check for correctness and booking
• Employee advances and Payroll booking
• Daily tracking of GRNI (good received not invoiced), ensure invoices are received and sent for posting to Shared Service Center
• Monitoring of overhead invoices smooth processing by Shared Service Center
• Active communicator between department, Shared Service centers and central functions in all matters in scope
• Leading the daily work of 3 accountants

Month end close:
• Run the process of not entered expense accruals
• Check movements on accounts for reasonables
• Prepare journals and backups
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare spreadsheet/journals control
• Prepare local ERP-HFM tie out report

Other:
• Drive and Lead Statutory audits, assign tasks so the process is smooth
• Taking part on stock takes (inventory, fixed assets)
• Supporting plant controller with ad-hoc tasks

Our requirements: 

• Proven experience with leading accounting team
• Confident communicator, talking with impact
• Ready to work in challenging environment
• Automotive industry experience preferred
• Strong accounting knowledge
• PC skills – MS Office advanced, Hyperion user
• English language - intermediate
• Self-driven attitude
• Experience with SOX controls
• Any Certification by ACCA preferred
