YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Supplier tracking based on the Product Development Process (PEP) / core SCM responsibilities for projects and series production

 

•Conducting supplier commitment discussions (milestones, assumptions)
•Identification of critical paths, risks and potential  (logistics routes, scheduling, capacity management)
•Supplier Monitoring according the Product Development Process (PEP)
•Ensuring achievement of supplier maturity levels
•Escalation and moderation in case of issues regarding supplier product and process maturity
•Review of logistics concepts for potential in packaging and transport routes
•Conducting or supporting supplier reviews (depending on project phase) – high risk suppliers
•Tooling tracking and Identification of potential in timing within Tier 2+x (prototype and series production tools)
•Support and planning of Supplier on-site reviews with Quality, Program Management  and Engineering
•Internal contact person for supplier issues, together with the Supplier Quality organization
•Regular communication with the customer (Face of customer for Supplier topics) on working and management level.
•Management status reporting
•Program Management support (if needed)

REQUIRMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

•Fluent English and Slovak language skills. German language skills would be a big advantage.
•High level of initiative and proactivity
•Knowledge of product development processes and production environments
•Technical manufacturing knowledge in metal, plastics, foam, textiles, or leather is an advantage
•Experience in supplier management and/or supplier readiness preferred
•Flexibility regarding travel (approx. 25% on average)
•Structured working method and prioritization of issues
•Ability to understand complex processes and a solution-oriented working approach
•Problem-solving oriented
•Management-level reporting skills
•Strong moderation and negotiation skills
