MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR – 2nd Shift
WENTZVILLE, MO - PLANT

 

As a member of the Maintenance Team, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining machinery, equipment, building and property, and for supervision of department employees.

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Maintain equipment, machinery, building, and property
  • Organizes, plans, and directs work assignments of maintenance technicians
  • Instructs and coordinates the activities of all personnel in the department to maintain top efficiencies and productivity
  • Manages and maintains parts and supplies to ensure adequate amounts to minimize production downtime
  • Administers safety policies, company policies, rules and bargaining agreements as related to the department
  • Assist with and provide guidance for the compliance of plant safety regulations such as (Arch Flash Electrical Safety- NFPA-70E; LOTO, Energized Work Permits, Safe Cell Entry)
  • Contact and coordinate work with outside contractors, vendors, and suppliers
  • Studies production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments
  • Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities
  • Manages accurate records of machines and equipment in regards to repairs, drawings, manuals, preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Ensures plant security is maintained
  • Ensures housekeeping, productivity, and quality of work standards are maintained within the maintenance department and general facility
  • Supervise and evaluate employee safety behavior, work methods and following of lockout/tagout safety procedures
  • Motivate workers and initiate plans to achieve work goals
  • Maintenance Supervisor is a part of the Engineering department and reports to the Engineering Manager
  • Makes approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
  • Supervise maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and PLC equipment.
  • Installs new machinery and equipment as directed.
  • Maintains and improves function and reliability of facility equipment, machinery, and systems by ensuring the on-time completions of the preventive and predictive maintenance program deliverables

Your Qualifications:

  • Minimum: H.S. Diploma and/or Associates Degree in related Maintenance Technical Fields
  • 3 - 5+ years’ experience in general maintenance supervision
  • Basic knowledge of building trades, such as power transmission systems, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC systems, flooring, roofing, and carpentry

Bonus If You Have:

  • Allen Bradley PLC knowledge.
  • Allen Bradley PLC programing experience.
  • Experience with Atlas Copco Torque equipment a plus.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc Robotics a plus.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
