Position Summary:

 

Reporting to Maintenance Supervisor, the Industrial Millwright will assist in troubleshooting and maintaining all plant equipment.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair breakdowns, root cause analysis, implement permanent fixes
  • Assists with the installation of plant equipment
  • Provide detailed information regarding any required parts or tools that may be required
  • Responsible for the daily, weekly, monthly, bi-annual, and annual preventative maintenance activities on all plant equipment
  • Ability to fabricate parts and assemblies from blueprints or scratch
  • Other duties that may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education/Knowledge:     

 

Required

  • Ticketed Industrial Millwright 433A

 

Desired

  • High school diploma

 

Experience/Skill:      

 

Required

  • 2 to 3+ years’ experience as an industrial millwright
  • Knowledge of conveyor systems and power transmission
  • Skilled with mills, lathes, grinder and welding
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to read, interpret and update blueprints
  • In the habit of working in a busy and complex environment, staying calm under pressure
  • Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written

 

Desired

  • Previous experience in a JIT work environment preferred

 

Required

  • 2 to 3+ years’ experience as an industrial millwright
