Job Description

As SMT Process Engineer You will be responsible for provide solutions that facilitate the execution of manufacturing processes, as well as design and/or provide the tools for proper execution and establish the parameters within the processes must be executed.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the introduction of processes and equipment for new products launch.
• Contribute to the costs and production techniques for new products.
• Ensure that processes and operations are established that meet the customer's capacity requirements and the ergonomic factors of high-performance industrial standards.
• Establish acceptance criteria for machines and tools in conjunction with the functional areas.
• Develop methods and tools to increase production efficiency and reduce costs.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing problems associated with the assembly and process of electronic products.
• Ensure that technological capabilities are in place to meet the needs of technological trends.
• Evaluate the technical capabilities of the equipment and provide alternative solutions for obsolete equipment

Skills

Education Requirements

Industrial, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or any related field. 

Experience Requirements

• Experience in automotive electronics needed.
• Experience in SMT, Conformal Coating and PCB environmental protection processes.
• Analyze costs, times, and process flow knowledge.
• Reflow soldering, stencils, and thermal profiles knowledge.
• Core Tools, Six Sigma and Problem-solving knowledge.
• 8+ years of experience in Engineering Areas.

Languages

Proficient English level.
