Job Description

As Supply Continuity Analyst, you will be responsible for improve productivity, efficiency, flexibility, and reducing costs while securing material and mitigating supply constraints.

Responsibilities

  •  Manage suppliers to resolve escalated critical supply constraints and ensure continuity of supply into Lear's manufacturing facilities.
  • Work with external suppliers and Lear internal cross functional teams (manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing) as the leader in complex escalations to drive short and long-term corrective actions.
  • Keep up to date on market trends within the assigned commodity to stay ahead of any potential risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the commodity purchasing team to provide insight and guidance on market and supplier capacity.
  • Manage assigned commodities to proactively evaluate risk to supply based on operations plan, tier III/sub-supplier material stocking plans, and capacity.
  • Document suppliers’ long-term plans and strategy to drive continuous improvement through regular audits of these plans.

Education Requirements

Bachelors Degree in International relations, Business Administration or related.

Experience Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in the field.

 

Languages

Proficient English level indispensable.
