Job Description

NEW CAREER OPPORTUNITY| PRODUCTION MANAGER (Assembly and Welding)

ARTEAGA, COAHUILA

 

 

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for create the production strategy in order to fulfill the production programs in a timely manner, fulfilling the KPIs of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost, putting safety as the first priority, maintaining order and cleanliness and supporting each of the the initiatives and systems of the different support areas.

Responsibilities

  • Active participation in improving the financial results of the plant
  • Plant efficiency and productivity improvement
  • Manage department resources such as personnel, budgets, etc.
  • Implementation and monitoring of the best manufacturing practices in the plant
  • Compliance with safety and hygiene rules and regulations in the plant Active participation in layer audit procedures
  • Development of his/her work team
  • Maintain a good work environment that encourages the permanence of employees in their areas.
  • Model the behaviors and style of a leader, according to the Lear Leadership Model.
  • Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team in plant launches

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Experience Requirements

  • +3 years of experience in the automotive industry in a similar role
  • Strong experience working with welding lines, assembly, and desirable painting lines.
  • Strong knowledge in customer requirements, CQI15, CQI12
  • Leadership, proactive, focused on results.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and listening ability.
  • Competent in problem solving tools such as 8D methodology.
  • Knowledge in IATF
  • Fluent english
