Europe Shared Services was established in Brno in 2010 with the goal to support Lear's plants in EMEA and cover Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated GBS Transition Manager to lead and manage the transition of finance processes from local entities to our Global Business Services center. This role is critical in ensuring smooth migrations, process standardization, and operational excellence across multiple European locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Transition Planning & Execution
- Develop and manage detailed transition plans for finance processes (AP, AR, GL, Treasury, Reporting).
- Coordinate with local finance teams and GBS stakeholders to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for plants, business units, and GBS leadership during transitions.
- Communicate timelines, risks, and progress effectively to all stakeholders.
- Process Standardization
- Drive harmonization and adoption of global finance processes and tools.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.
- Risk & Issue Management
- Proactively identify transition risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership
- Support onboarding and training of new team members in GBS.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in finance operations, shared services, or transition management.
- Strong project management skills (PMP or similar certification is a plus).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office tools.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
