Job Description

Financial Reporting is a specialized area of accounting focused on preparing statutory financial statements and reports including:

  • Preparation of statutory financial statements and reports for filing with regulatory agencies based on application of relevant accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS, etc.)
  • Analyzing impacts of new accounting standards, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards on existing and new transactions
  • Profit & Loss (P&L) and balance sheet analysis, including variance analysis that supports notes and management commentary in the statutory financial accounts and reports
  • May also include internal or vendor reporting
