JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Press Lamination Engineer
Job Location: Central Offices, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mex.
Objective: Supplier of world class door to processes and systems for Manufacturing (Press lamination, thermoforming lamination, foam injection small assemblies and flame lamination, with Quality and safety designed in and while perform as best in class and at the same time make product that exceed customer expectations and improve company profit.
YOUR TASKS WILL BE
- Leads the Engineering teams from Fuentes and Zaragoza.
- Provides a clear vision as well as the necessary projects to the plant engineering departments to meet such and objectives, it also provides the team with the MTO vision, and the company's general vision of the right way and in a professional way.
- Implements the vision of Industry 4.0 & 5.0 in the company using automation for both processes and information, reducing the need for direct and indirect labor in all areas, with an attitude always looking out for the safety of employees and the company.
- Develops the future leaders of Engineering, with diversity, equity, with solid bases in scientific principles, identifying High potential and High-performance employees. Mastery in the areas of six sigma, Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and ergonomics.
- Master in labor measurement/stds, and the development of highly efficient production systems focus Quality, Technical mastery (full grasp) of process flows (physical and digital) and evaluations of layouts and flows.
- Implement new program launches and Engineering changes flawlessly and on schedule.
- Effective communicator at all levels (Corporate, Divisional, Plant, Managers, Supervisor, Leader and operators).
- Knowledge and follow up of the health, safety and environmental policies of the company and sustainability projects.
- Organized with high standards for cleanliness and order.
- Follows up on the process controls, and the quality of its executions at the plants from its central areas.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering: Mechanical, Mechatronic, Manufacturing, Electronic, Electrical or similar. Masters preferred in either advance Engineering degree of MBA.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Press Lamination Process Engineering role.
- Experience in process analysis, design/implementation of automated process (AI a plus).
- Process traceability and interconnection (Ind 4.0 y 5.0).
- Experience in automotive lamination process.
- Labor measurements (standards), Launch of new models and Engineering changes. General knowledge of equipment.
- Leadership, Technical Mastery in Automation and Industry 4.0 & 5.0, teamwork and great communication skills.
- AMEF, Control Plan, Launching, NPI.
- Willing to travel when required.
- Cut and Sew process preferred.
- Foam Injection.
- Plastic injection.
