SENIOR BUYER

As a member of the purchasing team, the Senior Buyer will be responsible for supporting global purchasing initiatives, including but not limited to material cost reductions, strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations, and development of supply contracts for metal fastener purchases.  The job holder will be responsible for all tactical aspects of supply chain procurement methodologies required to support plant and customer requirements.

• Conducts necessary visits to Lear or supplier plants (<10%)
• May train and guide the work of Buyers

Your Qualifications:

• BS/BA or related area 
• 3+ yrs professional experience 
• Automotive experience a plus 
• Bilingual English - Spanish
