Job Description
Responsibilities

- Coordinate annual Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) plans, including the definition of measurable objectives, communicate them to the central EHS team, monitor execution, and periodically report progress.
- Develop accident prevention plans and lead their implementation within the plant.
- Implement and monitor the Safe Machine Program.
- Develop the annual Safety Plan in conjunction with Plant Management.
- Participate in accident investigations and coordinate cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Actively participate in MASS committees.
- Evaluate the MASS risk premium and coordinate programs aimed at reducing it through accident prevention initiatives.
- Conduct risk assessments to ensure the protection of plant assets and facilities.
- Determine training plans for employees based on the risk level associated with their positions to ensure safe job performance.
- Perform legislative and regulatory activities related to MASS to determine their impact on plant operations and compliance requirements.
- Support the implementation and follow-up of the 5S program, and participate in weekly and monthly audits.
- Develop action plans to improve the plant's frequency and severity rate trends.
- Implement and execute Human Resources initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Lear Corporation policies and procedures, as well as Quality and Environmental policies.
- Ensure legal and environmental compliance and provide support during external inspections and audits conducted at the plant:
- Ensure compliance with Lear Corporation policies and procedures, as well as all audit requirements, including ISO 14001, CTPAT, ISO 45001, and any other corporate or internal audits.
Skills
Education Requirements
Engineering Degree completed.
Experience Requirements
+3 years of experience as EHS Leader in manufacturing industry.
