CBR ANALYST
DETROIT, MICHIGAN – LEAR DETROIT GRATIOT PLANT

 

As a member of the Materials team, the CBR Analyst will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of all assigned components and maintains inventory levels of all assigned components consistent with established inventory goals.  The CBR Analyst will be challenged to coordinate incoming material for engineering changes and prototype builds as well as reviewing and analyzing both daily and weekly supplier and customer release schedules.  In this role, you support department and plant goals as established, participate in continuous improvement activities and the high-performance work team model.

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Creation and management of all CBR BOMS and Cost kit BOMS in MRP system.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports for department, supplier, and customer data.
  • Identify discrepancies in customer provided release data.
  • Responsible for communicating break points between the Customer and Plant Material Planners.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all SAP/AS400 files related to Materials.
  • Resolves supplier and carrier delivery issues.
  • Reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure proper releasing.
  • Follows IATF16949/ISO14001 policies, procedures and work instructions related to Materials department.
  • Participates in BOM audits and tear downs for the plant, engineering change control meetings and CMS while acting as Customer Delivery Champion for the plant.
  • Mandatory participation and contribution to the leadership & execution in all plant inventories.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s (4-year) degree; two plus years related experience and/or training.
  • Excellent written / verbal communication skills.
  • MRP – SAP / AS400, EDI / Releasing
  • Advanced computer literacy.
  • SQL or Python programming knowledge.

Bonus If You Have:

  • Lean Management.
  • JIT Automotive.
  • Forecasting knowledge, excellent planning skills
  • Data analysis experience.
