2nd Shift Material Handler

MANDATORY DUTIES/ TRAINING ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Maintain raw material flow with the correct material to all running machines.

Prevent material contamination through out the facility. (Cover all open containers, properly label all containers, clean regrind and feed systems... )

Maintain proper operation of the material feed systems. (Grinders, dryers, hoppers, hoses...)

Perform material changes per set up sheet when required.

Report equipment failures to the Maintenance Department and your Supervisor

Maintain the FIFO method of stock rotation for all raw materials.

 Keep raw material warehouse and production areas organized and clean

Communicate with previous and subsequent shift Material Handlers on all issues concerning new and current job runs.

Weigh, label, cover and band all materials prior to returning to stock.

Understanding of the Matsui Loading System and the 20% regrind maximum.

Maintain plant cleanliness and organization on a daily basis per established procedures.

Remove all pre-existing labels from any material container that is to be recycled into our process Then label the container on two opposing sides with a label identifying its contents, weight

MC number, and initial and date all labels.
