GLOBAL ALLOCATION MANAGER
El PASO, TX
Reporting to the Global Supply and Allocation Manager, the Global Allocation Manager will drive the continuous improvement of supply with constraint suppliers. Responsible for balancing inventories throughout the electronics and wiring plants when a supplier has capacity and/or supply constraints. Will typically be responsible for managing both the manufacturing plant and suppliers on those constraint raw material part numbers.
Development activities includes, but are not limited to:
• Manage suppliers to resolve escalated critical supply constraints and ensure continuity of supply into Lear's manufacturing facilities
• Work with external suppliers and Lear internal cross functional teams (manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing) as the leader in complex escalations to drive short and long-term corrective actions
• Work closely with the commodity purchasing team to provide insight and guidance on market and supplier capacity

The Hour-by-Hour Task Breakdown with percentages:
• Conducting 2 way call with suppliers and manufacturing plants (40% of day)
• Reporting to organization the status of the constrain parts and any possible disruptions to the operations (30% of day)
• Working with other cross functional groups to help mitigate the issues (30% of day)
Your Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 8 years of supply chain experience
Additional Skills and Experience (beneficial but not required)
• Experience with automotive industry, electronics a plus
• Broad supply chain experience, including both customer and supplier facing roles
