MANDATORY DUTIES:

 

  1. Quality awareness/ Right to know.
  2. Orientation & walk completed with EHS manager or designee.
  3. On-boarding, Benefits and Employee Handbook reviews and sign offs completed.
  4. Form Q18-12 (Machine Operator Training documentation) Implemented.
  5. Form Q18-12 (Machine Operator Training documentation) Completed.
  6. Understating and use of emergency stops on machines.
  7. Removing product from machine and inspecting per Operator Instructions.
  8. Must be able to identify short shots, flash, contamination etc.
  9. Pack & Label product containers or bins per Operator Instructions.
  10. Understand when and how to notify Supervisor or Quality of any issues.
  11. (i.e. Machine or Equipment, Quality etc.)
  12. Ability to operate assembly fixtures.
  13. Understand how to identify correct components.
  14. Rework and trim parts as instructed by the Quality Department or Production Supervisor.
  15. Record non-confirming parts hourly on the In-process Audit Form.
  16. Use of grinders both when to use/when NOT to use and how.
  17. Workstation cleanliness and housekeeping.
  18. Location and understanding of Quality alerts.
  19. Scrap Handling including parts on the floor must be placed in the scrap bin.
  20. Understand how to use weight scales by taking the container and setting the scale.
  21. Part handling in case of power failure or machine failure (i.e., placing product on hold)
  22. understanding of fixture checks done by the Quality Inspectors.
  23. Knowledge of Quality Policy, relevant quality objectives, benefits of good performance, the implications of not conforming with the QMS and consequences of non-conforming product.
  24. Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or management.
  25.  Follow systems for TS16949 and ISO14001REQUIREMENTS.
