MANDATORY DUTIES:
- Quality awareness/ Right to know.
- Orientation & walk completed with EHS manager or designee.
- On-boarding, Benefits and Employee Handbook reviews and sign offs completed.
- Form Q18-12 (Machine Operator Training documentation) Implemented.
- Form Q18-12 (Machine Operator Training documentation) Completed.
- Understating and use of emergency stops on machines.
- Removing product from machine and inspecting per Operator Instructions.
- Must be able to identify short shots, flash, contamination etc.
- Pack & Label product containers or bins per Operator Instructions.
- Understand when and how to notify Supervisor or Quality of any issues.
- (i.e. Machine or Equipment, Quality etc.)
- Ability to operate assembly fixtures.
- Understand how to identify correct components.
- Rework and trim parts as instructed by the Quality Department or Production Supervisor.
- Record non-confirming parts hourly on the In-process Audit Form.
- Use of grinders both when to use/when NOT to use and how.
- Workstation cleanliness and housekeeping.
- Location and understanding of Quality alerts.
- Scrap Handling including parts on the floor must be placed in the scrap bin.
- Understand how to use weight scales by taking the container and setting the scale.
- Part handling in case of power failure or machine failure (i.e., placing product on hold)
- understanding of fixture checks done by the Quality Inspectors.
- Knowledge of Quality Policy, relevant quality objectives, benefits of good performance, the implications of not conforming with the QMS and consequences of non-conforming product.
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor or management.
- Follow systems for TS16949 and ISO14001REQUIREMENTS.
