As a Cost Engineer, you will be responsible for prepare estimated costs and financial information for new programs and product modifications already existing to allow commercial and operations leaders to make financial decisions informed.
YOUR TASK WILL BE
1 Produce cost estimates for automotive seat covers
2 Liaise with Sales, Purchasing, Program Managers, Engineering and Plants to comply with
Cost requests
3 Prepare estimates from the design detail and manufacturing process plan for programs
new and existing.
4 Present costs and financial data for operations and business decisions.
5 Cost analysis and preparation of justification.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLL YOU WILL NEED
Industrial Engineer with commercial and financial knowledge, preferred
Excel - Above average skills, Bilingual English/Spanish 80%
Able to act on own initiative, ability to prioritize
Excellent communication skills at all levels with the organization
Experience in the automotive industry Interiors and seats
Leadership
