We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Quality Supervisor – Lead Prep, based in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua. (E-Systems Division).
As Quality Supervisor – Lead Prep your objective will be manage the human and material resources of the cable preparation area “Lead Prep” and intermediate processes to ensure product quality, as well as improve and adapt inspection systems in accordance with new manufacturing concepts and customer requirements.
Your tasks will be:
- Follow up on systems and procedures for quality control.
- Keep workstations updated and in good condition with procedures and visual aids, including all first-piece inspection requirements.
- Ensure the release and calibration of equipment and tooling in the cable preparation area, including intermediate process areas.
- Perform in-process inspections and final audits.
- Achieve positive results in quality walks and internal and external IATF16949 audits
- Ensure corrective actions are taken in the process or area when quality issues arise.
- Stop production processes where quality problems or system non-compliance are detected.
- Inform personnel about customer complaints, reasons, and actions to be taken.
- Ensure proper completion of quality records.
- Maintain control over rework and sorting activities.
- Comply with and enforce the quality policy.
- Ensure all quality auditors under your responsibility receive proper training to perform their duties.
To Be Successful In This Role You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree industrial engineering degree or any related field
- 1+ years of experience in Industry (Wire Harness is preferred)
- Knowledge in Lead Prep Process
- Problem solving skills
- Intermediate English level
