Operations Manager

Job based in Lear Corporation- Leon plant cut l, León, Guanajuato.

You will be responsible for responsible for Plan, direct and coordinate human and material resources in order to meet goals of production. Ensure the optimal functioning of the Cutting Production areas. Directing all efforts towards compliance with company policies, procedures and goals.

 

Your task will be

  • Directs, supervises and controls cutting production operations.
  • Promotes operational excellence through continuous improvement.
  • Develops complex solutions to business problems and/or customer commitments.
  • Participates in the implementation of projects within the organization.
  • Adheres to and enforces company standards and rules.
  • Plan the production of the different shifts and areas, considering the efficiency of the workforce, priorities, delivery requirements to the client as well as the use of the leather.
  • Supports compliance with company safety rules.
  • Supervises that the goals established in the indicators of each area under his charge are met.
  • Plan periodic meetings with area managers in order to review results and take actions as well as continuous monitoring of said actions.
  • Continuous focus on waste elimination (Lean Manufacturing).
  • Compliance with Quality systems. IATF-16949 and ISO-14001.
  • Follow-up on corrective actions, process improvements, internal and/or external audits.
  • Comply with and enforce the Company's Code of Ethics and Conduct, compliance with HR rules.                                                                                                                                                                                                               

To succeed in this role, you will need

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related.
  • Advanced English.
  • +5 years in a similar position with experience in automotive industry.
  • knowledge in manufacturing systems, quality systems, financial management, lean manufacturing, strategic planning.
